This question was discussed extensively in the last presidential campaign. As President, I have been proud to serve as commander-in-chief of America's military forces, which are the finest in the world. |
Unlike President Clinton, I served my country. As a veteran, I am
acquainted with the sacrifice and patriotism that underlies our nation's
responsibility to those who have served their country in uniform. I spent 39
months recovering from massive injuries I received from Nazi machine guns in
World War II.
Every American has a duty to serve our country. When America called, I heeded her call and fought to ensure the survival of democracy and liberty. |
